What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is an independent quality assurance process where an organization like NAHHP verifies the program meets high standards in holistic education, assessing curriculum qualified faculty, student outcomes, and ethical practices, ensuring credibility, professional recognition, and better career prospects for graduates in the wellness industry. It validates that students receive comprehensive training, not just theory, preparing them for real-world practice in areas like holistic massage therapy nutrition, aromatherapy, or other modalities

Program Assessment is available separately for schools who require third party assessment and evaluation for their program.
Accreditation is open to schools such as Community Colleges, Private Career Colleges, Private Education institutions and selective private academy for the purpose of skills building, private schools, schools in esthetics, medical aesthetics, advanced medical aesthetics, natural health, holistic nutrition, basic and advanced nursing foot care, foot care specialist, spa practitioner and private individual teachings holistic health studies.

In submitting your documentation you will need to submit; program content, outline, mode of instruction, qualification of teacher, program length, duration of program and qualification of student upon completion from your program.
Please note skills building certificate programs tailored for medical or regulated health care professionals such as nurses and medical doctors must have a clinical or practical component and is facilitated by a regulated health care provider in Canada. These courses include: the advanced medical aesthetics, medical aesthetic, botox and dermal filler, platelet rich plasma, and the basic and advanced nursing foot care certificate program. To be considered by NAHHP, the program must include a clinical or practical component in addition to the course content.
For non-medical courses to be considered, including basic aesthetics, advanced aesthetics including: micro dermabrasion, micro blading, spa practitioner, holistic health practitioner, holistic health nutrition, life coach, and ayurveda.
The courses must have a theory and clinical component. The theory component of the course must have anatomy, physiology, sterilization, and safety as part of the course curriculum or program. The program instructors must meet NAHHP instructor practice guideline.
Education and experience of the instructors will be assessed in order for your school program to be accredited by NAHHP.
